C-Arm Warranty & Service Contract: What is Included?

Posted by Alex Silbergleit on Tue, Jun 6, 2017 @ 13:06 PM

For the past 24 years, Atlantis has been selling medical imaging equipment across all modalities. The quality of our equipment, and C-Arm Warrantiesmore specifically our C-Arms, is known across the industry. As important as a quality C-Arm refurbishment is, the warranty that accompanies the refurbishment is equally important. We offer warranties with all our refurbished C-Arms. How could we not? If we didn’t offer warranties, it would be like us saying that we don’t trust the continued functionality of our C-Arms after refurbishment. And that simply is not true. All warranties and service contracts come with full coverage on all parts (including glassware) and labor. We want our customers to feel assured that in the unfortunate event that there is an issue with their C-Arm, they will not be financially responsible.

What does a warranty and service contract include?

Well for starters, it includes immediate technical support. We pride ourselves on being incredibly responsive to all our clients’ questions and concerns no matter the size of the inquiry. The faster that you contact us the faster we can respond to you. In addition to our customers having my direct contact information, we make sure that our customers have our head engineers contact information as well as the contact information to our local engineer. We urge our customers to contact us whenever anything of concern happens to their C-Arm. It is easy to forget that a C-Arm - beyond being a medical imaging system - is a computer. Sometimes computers glitch or freeze. That doesn’t mean that your C-Arm has a problem. But when it happens, we want to know about it.

If your C-Arm is not functioning appropriately, it becomes our immediate priority to repair it. Our first step will be to try to diagnose and rectify the issue over the phone. If we cannot fix the issue over the phone, we will diagnose the cause of the problem so that when we do our onsite visit, we can arrive with the parts to make the appropriate repairs. When parts are needed, they are always ordered FedEx Priority overnight so that we can tackle the problem first thing the next morning. It is our goal that our warrantied and service contracted C-Arms are repaired within 24-48 hours from notification.

In addition to our immediate service on your C-Arm, our warranties and service contracts come with a yearly preventative maintenance visit. Included is a service call on your C-Arm when everything is fully functional. It’s our way of preventing issues before they happen. Our technician will do the following:

  • Clean your C-Arm inside and out.
  • Inspect all the boards and make sure they are firmly connected.
  • Make sure that your C-Arm is correctly calibrated and set to the exact power settings of your facility.
  • Check the full mechanics of the C-Arm and make sure everything is working as it should.
  • If there are any problems found, we will repair them right away.

We feel that a yearly preventative maintenance visit is imperative to the longevity of your C-Arm. We urge our clients to schedule the appointment at a day and time that doesn’t interfere with any procedures.

Most importantly, you will have peace of mind with our warranties and service contracts since you’ll have a support team at your beck and call. We recognize that C-Arms and service contracts aren’t cheap. If you are going to purchase one, you need to feel that it is money well spent. It is our obligation to keep our customers happy and the best way to do that is to keep your C-Arms working.

Do you have a C-Arm under warranty or service contract with us? Give us a call. Let us know how your system is doing. Atlantis Worldwide is always happy to hear from our clients.
