Two new MRIs with AI (Artificial Intelligence) have been approved by the Food and Drug Administration: the MAGNETOM Viato.Mobile from Siemens Healthineers and Fujifilm’s Echelon Synergy magnetic resonance imaging system.
The Echelon Synergy MRI combines AI enhancements for image acquisition and quality with improved radiology workflow efficiencies. The MAGNETOM Viato.Mobile is a 1.5 Tesla magnetic MRI that’s designed for easy transportation to off-site locations.
More About Siemens MAGNETOM Viato.Mobile
It’s a 70 centimeter-bore scanner that offers a wide range of features, including AI-powered Deep Resolve image reconstruction and BioMatrix Technology, according to Siemens Healthineers, who manufactures the MAGNETOM Viato.Mobile.
The BioMatrix Technology enables clinicians to personalize MRI exams and compensate for different patient physiologies and anatomies, preventing variation in imaging results. It brings the capabilities of advanced imaging to patients without geographic proximity to facilities, installed in a trailer setup. Operation and service can be done remotely via internet and or 4G connection.
What The Fujifilm's Echelon Synergy MRI System Offers
This new MRI system uses proprietary Deep Learning Reconstruction technology to improve MRI scan quality and the speed of acquiring the images. It has the AutoExam One Touch, which allows automated workflows for knee and brain MRI scans.
The system also offers reduced acoustic noise through SoftSound™ gradient technology. It has a 70 cm-wide bore and 62 cm-wide table that accommodates patients weighing up to 550 pounds.
