Nashville is the home of country music, cowboy boots and barbeque–and the perfect location for last week’s ASCA Conference! The Gaylord Opryland was a great place to stay. While the convention center is conveniently located right there at the hotel, the complex has a lot of different pathways and buildings and gathering areas and was easy to get lost in. The good news is, we were able to work off a few of those extra convention calories by walking around, looking for meeting and hotel rooms! We enjoyed seeing old friends and making new connections at the show. Due to cancelled flights, the entire Atlantis Worldwide team had to spend an extra night. (oh darn) Still, the show was a great success!
Sensible Solutions for Refurbished Radiology
Once upon a time, if a child fell off a skateboard and broke his arm, a dad had appendicitis, a mom burned her hand or a grandparent was running a high fever at midnight on a Saturday, it meant going to the hospital.
Another MD EXPO has come and gone and yet again it was a great success! The MD EXPO is so much more than a source of educational classes that technicians are required to attend. This show continues to connect the various different personnel within a hospital or clinic that attend the show, from directors and managers of imaging service to radiology and biomedical technicians, to the providers of medical equipment, parts and service.
The Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) is an international society of radiologists, medical physicists and other medical professionals. They have over 51,000 members from 136 countries across the globe. The 99th RSNA Annual meeting expects 55,000 people to attend in Chicago this year. There will be 650 exhibiting companies- don’t miss your chance to explore new products and technologies!
Visit Atlantis Worldwide at the Virtual Symposium on Radiation Safety in Computed Tomography. We will have a virtual exhibit booth in the Software Section on SafeCT, a universal iterative image reconstruction solution that substantially enhances the Signal-to-Noise(SNR) of CT images acquired over a wide range of exposure parameters on CT scanners of all vendors..
Okay, the Atlantis Worldwide hospitality suite was rockin’, complete with a martini bar, hits from all the James Bond Classics, some old visitors Sean Connery, Ursula Andress and Halle Berry from the 007 Movies and Dr. No playing on the back walls. The music, karaoke and ambience at The Coca Cola Museum was a bubbly experience. And who didn’t love the coke? As anyone who attended the annual Health Connect Partners Radiology and Imaging Conference in Atlanta in April can tell you, the conference was a huge success in many ways. It offered a great balance of networking opportunities, industry learning and sharing, panel discussions and FUN.
Having been to Boston many times, I have to say that last week was a different experience. The ASCA (Ambulatory Surgery Center Association) Show from April 17th to 19th, 2013 will be a show to remember.
Did you see the power of SafeCT technology for yourself? You know, SafeCT is the add-on system for all CT scanners (4-slice and up) that boosts your diagnostic image quality for any exposure parameters. Clients brought in a low-dose study, and we processed it with SafeCT. They were able to see the amazing results right on the spot! SafeCT processes low-dose, noisy CT images into high-quality images quickly and easily.
